Community Giving

Over the years Mutts in Motion has performed for various pet adoptions, animal shelter fundraisers and benefits for animal welfare in our community.  We offer an education table of information on the importance of crating, playing with and training dogs when participating at these benefits.  From the Valley Animal Center’s Wiggle Waggle Run to the Pinnacle Pup Run, Chase away Canine Cancer, and many Super Adopt-o-thons and Dog Park Openings, The Mutts in Motion Organization contributes to the Community we live in.

We are very fortunate to have our Mutts Members volunteer at the Fresno Humane Society supporting various projects throughout the year.  Below, members Virginia Kammer and Lee Perryman help construct carriers for the rescue and transport of Chihuahuas and Terrier Mixes to their new forever homes.  Compassion without Borders raises monies to fuel the mission and transport of these dogs via airflight and partners with Fresno Humane to find these dogs a home in Minnesota.  50 flights have saved over 1600 lives so far.

Each year at the Pinnacle Pup Run, the Mutts in Motion team is out at a local park to give a flyball demonstration and teach people about canine welfare and responsible pet ownership through the sport of flyball.  All of the proceeds for this event go towards 6 local animal shelters and rescue organizations.  Several of our members donate blankets, beds and food to the organizations as well.
